Nowadays lots of people are addicted to technology. The whole society depends on it to make through the day. Furthermore, there is a mental issue about this fact. There is a phobia around not being in contact with technology, nomophobia, which defines the weight of technology in the patient’s life.
Most people create a work routine based on digital services, independent from any company, and a digital identity through social media, and there is a span of people who is able to make a living from that.
This is the reason why there are so many companies who attempted to help people addicted to technology. For instance, we have collected some of them:

Forest
This company has committed to the planet, so as long as you keep on not using your compatible devices it makes a green move, it helps to plant trees in real life. This company works through an ethic compromise from their users.

reSTART
Whilst many companies believe on a digital solution for many addictions, there are cases where habits are acquired and stand against a sane digital life.
This company has defined a traditional rehab center to treat this new threat, so there is no chance to enable those people in treatment.

Digital Wellbeing
Has a variety of features and tools, between them you can see stats on your spent time on your Android device, set a limit of daily use time for each app on your phone, block distracting apps for periods of time, do not disturb mode, and a lot more.

Zen Mode
If you have been in your phone for more than 2 hour straight it will send you a notification suggesting to use the Zen mode where you can choose between 20 – 60 minutes to lock yourself out of your phone. The only features you can keep using are the camera, emergency calls and you can still answer phone calls.
Even though they are making lots of different solutions, options and motivational movements to keep people out of their phones and away from technology none of them have been able to make a real change.
The main reason that none of these efforts didn’t work so far is that they leave the choice to the addicted. The last calls are always up to them, if they want to turn on the mode Zen, or limit their time on screen but the truth is that for all of this to work we have to make them leave the technology.
Another reason is that it seems a bit sketchy but most of the companies that have created a “solution” are big part of the problem because they are the dealers so it’s obvious that they don’t want to lose money neither clients so they are not trying to find a long time solution just good enough so we don’t worry about it.
From Dome Solutions, we believe that there is lots of tech, more than any company can control but the DOME, from Dome Solutions.
We believe that a giant DOME that blocks any signal is necessary to fix this major problem. This would create the perfect environment for all humans to interact and restore all the values, the cultures and tradition that we have lost because of the technology.
No more phone calls, emails nor social media. Just humans and humanity, only dialog and interaction as we’ve done for a long time.
